New Pilot Flying J Location Now Open In Ohio

NEW PILOT TRAVEL CENTER IN BELMONT, OHIO OPENS TO SERVE PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS

Pilot Flying J today announced the opening of a new Pilot Travel Center in Belmont, Ohio.

“Professional drivers make a living by traveling the country, so we want to give them a better experience while they are on the road,” said Pilot Flying J CEO, Jimmy Haslam. “We hope drivers will enjoy the convenience and amenities that the new Belmont Travel Center has to offer.”

The Belmont Pilot Travel Center offers many amenities, including:

  • Eight diesel lanes and 12 gas lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling
  • Nine showers; 67 truck parking spots and 60 car parking spots
  • CAT scale
  • Subway
  • Premium coffee and cappuccino selections
  • Everyday products for quick shopping needs
  • Two ATMS, public laundry, Western Union, fax and a game room

The Belmont Pilot Travel Center is the 35 location in Ohio. The Travel Center is adding 60 jobs to help boost the local economy and is located off Interstate 70 at exit 208. The new Travel Center is expected to contribute more than 4.2 million annually in state and local taxes.

Expanding its network is one more step in Pilot Flying J’s mission to making life better for professional drivers. The company is planning an extensive $50 million restroom remodel next year on all 650 locations. In 2011, the company launched a $50 million project to remodel driver showers, and it offers DEF at the pump in more than 3,400 lanes nationwide.

In the past year, Pilot Flying J has opened more than 20 stores in North America. The combined network of more than 650 Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Plazas across North America serves more than 1.3 million customers daily.
