Starting Monday, the New York Department of Transportation will shut down the Kanona rest area located on Interstate 86 between exits 38 and 37 in Kanona, New York.
The rest area is expected to remain closed until May 10, 2013, while crews work to upgrade the water system.
The nearest parking is at the Pilot located off of exit 37.
