On October 16th, in Purdy, Missouri vehicles from the Greene and Barry County Sheriff Departments were present to serve a search warrant probing operations involving 3T Trucking (operated by Robert Campbell’s family in Purdy).

Stolen property was found, resulting in the arrest of Robert Campbell, who is currently awaiting trial on first degree murder charges from the 2011 killings of both Rusty and Rebecca Porter of Williard, Missouri (a case, completely unrelated).

According to Johnnie Cox, a Barry County Prosectuor, 69 year-old Robert Campbell was arrested on October 16th at the Lowe’s store in Monett after the search warrant was executed on the Purdy home where Campbell was dwelling. – A warrant was used to procure the financial records of 3T Trucking.

When the warrant was served, Campbell was at home, but left the premises in a tractor trailer, against the wishes of the present officers. The department later conducted a search at Monett’s Lowe’s store, where the rig was stopped.

According to Cox, the tractor was stolen and had an altered VIN. There was also a photograph of a different license plate which was found under the license plate cover.

The trailer was stolen in Bentonville, Arkansas in 2006.

Campbell was arrested for possession of stolen property, and possession of equipment with an altered or removed VIN. – Both Class C felonies. He is currently being held at the jail in Barry County with a bond set to $150,000.
