Oregon Carrier Helping In the Search For Missing Mom and Toddler

Published:

UPDATE: We have just been informed Lane’s Toyota Camry was sold the day the two went missing.  According to the Eugene Police Department, the pair may be traveling with a caucasian man in his 60s Fela refers to as “Bob.”

On January 27, 2013, Steven Colbert and his 4-year-old daughter Fela Khepri Colbert met up with Fela’s mother Deanna Denise Lane at the Eugene Public Library in Oregon.

Colbert passed Fela off to her mother and the two set off for home… only, they didn’t end up there and they haven’t been seen since.

Colbert learned from Lane’s landlord and neighbors that Lane had vacated her residence on January 22, 2013, but she left all her belongings behind, taking only a suitcase with her.

In an earlier interview with Eugene Weekly, Colbert said he’s worried for the safety of his daughter, and he’s worried for the safety of Lane.

Oregon carrier CRG Freight has joined the search for Fela and Lane.  They’ve put large posters of Fela and Lane on their trailers.

Lane was last seen driving a late 90s maroon/red 4-door Toyota Camry with children’s stickers on the back passenger side window.
