Typically, Liedtka runs in New England, the Southeast, Midwest, and the Mid-Atlantic. Phil Liedtka will be appointed into the vice president of Eastern Operations position in Trenton, New Jersey for PGT.

According to Liedtka, “We look forward to this next chapter with PGT Trucking and are very excited to join an industry leader in the flatbed and specialized hauling business.”

This acquisition adds a total of 4 Northeastern terminals, bringing PGT’s United States terminal total to 31. PGT operates over 1,000 trucks across the nation. According the Gregg Troian, the president of PGT, “The acquisition of Liedtka Trucking allows us to expand our footprint into New England and the Mid-Atlantic to service some additional customers on the Eastern Seaboard that we previously did not have the opportunity to engage with.”

Troian also mentioned that the new terminal locations would allow a diversification and expansion when it comes to the types of freight and products hauled by PGT. It also grants PGT into the New England States, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Eastern Seaboard. He hopes that these changes will foster growth within the company.
