Thanks to the generosity and support of TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping Centers® travel center brands, the St. Christopher Fund will be accepting donations at all the major truck shows this summer. TravelCenters will have the prize wheel set up at the Expedite Expo in Wilmington, Ohio, July 26-27 (booth #245); and the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, August 22-24. Guests are invited to donate $1 and spin the wheel to win any of a variety of great prizes. Be sure to stop by the TA/Petro booths and support the SCF.
The Big Rig of Change campaign is also in full swing this summer. The SCF will have a booth at the Expo (#182) to collect and weigh change. Jon Osborn, driver of OOIDA’s Spirit Truck also collects change at all of his stops. In fact, he recently dropped off 281 lbs of change that he’s gathered since April. Check out his calendar to see where you can make your donation:https://www.ooida.com/WhoWeAre/OOIDAOnTour/spirit-schedule.asp. The goal is to collect 80,000 lbs of change; 684 lbs have been collected to date.
The 4th annual Band Together for the St. Christopher Fund will run August 1-31 at all TA and Petro Stopping Centers locations. The 2013 commemorative wristbands can be purchased for a $1 donation to the Fund. One hundred percent of the donations go to the SCF. The wristbands will also be available at the Great American Trucking Show.
Thank you for supporting us at these great events.
