The Big Rig of Change campaign is also in full swing this summer. The SCF will have a booth at the Expo (#182) to collect and weigh change. Jon Osborn, driver of OOIDA’s Spirit Truck also collects change at all of his stops. In fact, he recently dropped off 281 lbs of change that he’s gathered since April. Check out his calendar to see where you can make your donation:https://www.ooida.com/WhoWeAre/OOIDAOnTour/spirit-schedule.asp. The goal is to collect 80,000 lbs of change; 684 lbs have been collected to date.
The 4th annual Band Together for the St. Christopher Fund will run August 1-31 at all TA and Petro Stopping Centers locations. The 2013 commemorative wristbands can be purchased for a $1 donation to the Fund. One hundred percent of the donations go to the SCF. The wristbands will also be available at the Great American Trucking Show.
Thank you for supporting us at these great events.
