Last month, two Pilot Flying J employees pleaded guilty for their roles in the company’s rebate fraud scheme. This week, three more employees pleaded guilty to cheating trucking companies out of their earned rebates.
In a Knoxville, Tennessee, federal court, Missouri regional sales manager Kevin Clark and account representative Holly Radford pleaded guilty to mail fraud.
According to court records, Clark admitted to conspiring with his coworkers on how to short trucking companies’ rebate checks.
Clark faces a five year prison sentence. The sentence may be reduced in exchange for Clark’s testimony.
According to WATE, late this afternoon, a fourth Pilot Flying J employee also pleaded guilty to committing mail fraud.
James Stinnett was also a regional sales manager for Pilot Flying J. He began working for the company in 1995.
WATE reprots Stinnett admitted to, “directing Pilot regional account representatives to reduce rebates by an amount he would email to them.”
Stinnett faces a twenty year prison sentence.
