VIDEO: Truck Driver Honors His Deceased Brother With Last Ride In Truck

Published:

On New Year’s Eve, veteran truck driver Kevin Dawkins, 52, lost his battle with cancer.

Before he passed away, Kevin shared his last wishes with his brother Keith– he wanted to be transported by truck to his final resting place.

“Me and my brother have been driving lorries for more than 20 years and we always said to each other that if anything should happen to either one of us then we would like to be taken on a lorry,” Keith told The Argus.

“With what happened with Kevin, the company were very accommodating and we were able to do it. I feel very proud today.”

On Wednesday, January 16, 2013, Keith honored his brother’s final wishes when he transported Kevin’s coffin to its final resting place.

Rest in peace, driver.
