A truck driver put his own life at risk to save his trailer filled with Little Debbie snacks. The driver and his co-driver were traveling along Interstate 35 east near the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Wednesday night when their check engine light came on.
Soon after that, the drivers noticed the cab was on fire. The driver jumped out and unhooked the trailer and then pulled the burning cab away and even attempted to extinguish the fire himself.
The highway was closed down for a short time while firefighters worked to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported. At this time, the exact cause of the fire is unknown.
