Truck Driver Shot In Kentucky Road Rage Incident

A truck driver sustained life-threatening injuries after being shot during a road rage incident.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Thursday night, Luster Rose, 54, was driving on KY-914 in Somerset, Kentucky, when a purple Nissan pickup pulled out in front of Rose’s truck.

An altercation ensued.  Authorities said that’s when McAninch pulled out a gun and fired four shots at Rose.

Rose sustained life-treatening injuries.  He was airlifted to a local hospital.

McAninch was arrested and has been charged with assault.

Authorities would like to speak with anyone who might have witnessed the incident.  Witnesses are asked to call 606-678-5145.
