Trucking Attorneys To Answer Drivers’ Questions On Sirius

Published:

Drivers Sue For Overtime Pay and Lunch BreaksTruck drivers often face many challenging legal questions, but seeking council can be costly.  Tomorrow on the Dave Nemo show on Radio’s Road Dog Trucking channel 171, trucking attorneys will be on hand to answer your legal questions for free!

The attorneys will answer questions about hiring, liability, employment classification and much more.

“We want to help truck drivers. There are many steps they can take to avoid mistakes and pitfalls after a serious truck accident,” Fried said. “We can help truckers protect themselves if they’ve been injured and aren’t sure where to turn — especially when the safety director’s real job at the truck company is to figure out how truckers can break the rules so the company can turn over a larger profit.”

Michael Leizerman and Joseph Fried, founding members of the Truck Accident Attorneys Roundtable law firm, and other lawyers will be answering drivers’ call-in questions.

The show will air at 8:35 a.m. Eastern on June 26, 2013

“For an hour and a half, truck drivers can call in and ask the attorneys any legal questions pertaining to truck accidents. Topics include trucking lawsuits, discovery issues and what to do when a truck driver is injured on the job. Workers’ compensation claims and the current worker comp law for truck drivers, including the industry’s aggressive push toward making truckers independent contractors so they can avoid paying workers compensation claims, will also be discussed, noted Leizerman,” a press release states.

“Many commercial truck drivers get a bad reputation because of a small group of truckers that are negligent and cause serious crashes. Many of these truckers are pushed by their employer trucking companies to break the rules. But the Truck Accident Attorneys Roundtable knows that the majority of truck drivers do care about safety and follow the rules, because we also represent these drivers when they are seriously injured in accidents,” Leizerman added.
