A Rydal, Georgia trucking company called Kennesaw Transportation Company is giving away over $360,000 in Christmas bonuses this year!
Kennesaw Transportation Company started their Christmas bonus program 15 years ago to reward the employees that had been with the company for 5 years or more. The owner believed that rewarding his employees with a $10,000 bonus (after every 5 years of service) might help him keep his best drivers.
This year’s bonus will be awarded to 36 employees, the most in the company’s history.
Some drivers are collecting their bonus for the third time!
Kennesaw Transportation Company will also be rewarding the drivers that have good driving records and safe driving practices.
As a result of this Christmas bonus program, Kennesaw Transportation Company is able to celebrate an impressive number of years with it’s veteran drivers:
Stephen Williams has been with Kennesaw Transportation Company for 32 years and 8 months, James Brown for 32 years and 6 months, and many others have over 20 years of service with the company.
Kennesaw Transportation sees incredibly low turnover as well, averaging 65% for solo drivers and 70% for team drivers this year.
