According to the Dallas Morning News, on Tuesday night a truck driver walked out of a Dallas business just in time to witness his truck being driven away.
Police attempted to pull over the truck, but the suspects refused to stop and led police on a half-hour long chase along Interstate 20, near S. Collins Street, before eventually coming to a stop around Dolphin Road.
Police said the suspects, William Edward Ayala and Thomas Ware Bodley, ran from the truck but where captured by police.
Arlington Police spokeswoman Cheryel Carpenter said the suspects traveled at a safe speed and used signals during the pursuit.
Ayala and Bodley are being held at the Arlington City Jail. Ayala’s bond has been set at $30,000 and Bodley’s has been set at $750.
