A portion of I-95 North in Volusia County, Florida has been shut down near mile-marker 256 due to a hijacking and police chase.
According to police, a man had been carjacked earlier today in Daytona Beach – police later found the van, a confrontation and police chase ensued. The alleged suspect has been apprehended and is known to be dead.
Officials are not allowing traffic in the area.
