A blown tire caused a driver to go off the highway and dangle off the Selmon Expressway in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday morning. According to the driver, the accident happened around 8:30 this morning when he lost control of his trailer after the tire blew. The truck continued moving down the edge of the outside concrete barrier for 600 feet, taking out three light poles and spilling concrete mix from the trailer over the road. The driver claims he feared for his life.
Luckily, both the driver and truck kept from going over the side of the bridge, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident. Watch the video for the USA Today news story.
