If you’re a fan of hockey, you’re probably dying for the season to start. After months of negotiations between players and coaches, both sides came to an agreement to allow the season to begin on Saturday.
This year, rather than the usual 82-game season, each team will only play 48 games since so much time was lost during negotiations. Saturday marks the first dropped pucks of the year with 26 of the 30 NHL teams competing.
