Homer Simpson plays up truck driver stereotypes in this video from The Simpsons, season 10, episode 17, titled “Maximum Homerdrive,” which originally aired on March 28, 1999.
In the episode, Homer decides to take on truck driver Red Barclay in a beef-eating contest. Barclay beats Homer, finishing his 16 lbs. steak, only to die seconds after winning the competition. In Barclay’s honor, Homer decides to deliver Red’s final truck load.
The scene takes place during one of Homer’s stops on the road and depicts some stereotypes about truck drivers.
