On Friday, a 29-year-old truck driver died after a chain-reaction crash on I-805 in National City, Calif.
The driver of a Ford Ranger slammed into the man’s semi truck and sustained major injuries and was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital.
The driver of the semi, a Tijijuana man driving a 2005 Kenworth, whose name has not been released, became unconscious inside his vehicle after the accident. He was taken to Sharp Chula Vista Hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.
The crash is still under investigation.
