Monday’s horrific bombings truly highlighted some of the best and worst of humanity. A ruthless coward set off bombs that killed 3 people and injured more than 100. In spite of the horrific event, an abundance of heroes could be found.
As many were running from the bombing sites, others were running toward the destruction to offer their help. Runners completed the 26.2 mile race and continued running all the way to the local hospitals to donate blood. People were taking the shirts off of their backs for the bloodied victims. The good people of Boston opened their homes to complete strangers and restaurants were offering pay only what you can afford meals.
If we fail to lose sight of good in humanity, the terrorists, whether foreign or domestic, win.
