Fans of the Walcott Trucker Jamboree will be pleased to learn that the Jamboree is now offering an additional day of festivities. Traditionally, the Jamboree was a 2-day event. This year, the fun will be extended to 3 days.
This year’s Jamboree will be held July 11th-13th– Thursday through Saturday.
“We’ve had a lot of requests from drivers to continue the event on Saturday and decided 2013 was the year to do it,” says Heather DeBaillie, marketing manager. “The Walcott Truckers Jamboree allows us to promote a positive image of trucking to the general public and it also gives us the opportunity to let drivers know how much we appreciate what they do to keep this country moving, so we feel adding one more day to the event is a very good decision.”
The free event is held each year at the Iowa 80 Truck Stop in Walcott, Iowa.
