$10K Rookie Driver Contest, Enter Now!

Friday, June 27, is the DEADLINE to enter the Mike O’Connell Memorial Trucking’s Tip Rookie contest.

The lucky winner will haul home $10,000, a RoadPro Getting Started Living On-The-Go Package which includes a $1,000 cash prize and 100,000 MyRewards points from Pilot Flying J, a Rand McNally GPS, an ATA “Good Stuff Trucks Bring It” package, A Cobra dash camera and a plaque.

“We’ve had great response to the Trucking’s Top Rookie contest thanks to our sponsors and support from association partnerships with TCA, ATA, CVTA, and NAPFTDS,” Scott Miller, Senior Vice President, Sales for Randall-Reilly, said. “With $25,000 in cash and prizes plus more time for entries, this year’s contest promises to be bigger and better. We hope to have 50 nominees in 2014.”

Nine finalists will take home $1,000 in similar prizes.

In addition, the winner will be interviewed by Eric Harley on the RedEye Radio Network.

The contest is intended to increase pride and professionalism among new drivers and to promote trucking as a potential career.

All nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27.

Eligibility

Any CDL holder who has graduated from either a

and has been either

  • employed by or leased to a trucking company for less than one year; or
  • self-employed as a professional truck driver for less than one year

is eligible for the award.
