If you’re passing through Lucas County on I-475 in Ohio, expect additional traffic restrictions, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced today.
Starting Friday, August 29th, drivers on southbound I-475 between Airport Highway and Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive will undergo traffic shifts for a continuing bridge widening project.
Through May 2016, overnight from 8pm until 6am, width restrictions up to 11 feet will be possible on I-475 between the Angola Road overpass and Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive exit.
Through June 2016, when the bridge project is expect to be complete, lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on the Ohio Turnpike, I-80/I-90 at the I-475 bridge.
On Tuesday, September 2 through December, Angola Road will be closed at the I-475 underpass. Detours will be set up at McCord Road, Airport Highway, Holland and Sylvania Road.
Through June 2015, Manley Road will be closed at the Ohio Turnpike underpass.
