Authorities are searching for a 31-year-old truck driver who went missing on Thursday and hasn’t been heard from since.

Carter County Deputy VanZant told CDLLife that at 10:30 on Thursday, Brandon Nichols’ truck was found hooked up to a salt water tank on the lease site near Mount Pleasant road and Happy Trail road. His cellphone, shirt and hard hat were found at the secene.

VanZant said they found no signs of foul play.

An extensive search of the area was done, and the Sheriff’s Department has been interviewing current and former CJ Trucking employees, VanZant said.

Nichols is 5’10”, weighs approximately 215 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help for information about Nichols’ disappearance or whereabouts. If you have any information, you’re asked to call the Carter County Sheriff’s Department at (580) 223-6014.

*Local media erroneously reported that Nichols had brown eyes, however, Deputy VanZant confirmed Nichols’ eyes are blue.
