Do you enjoy grilling? Then you might enjoy grabbing a sausage off the world’s largest touring grill.
Johnsonville Sausage begins their Big Taste Grill Tour this week. They will be hauling their truck sized grill across the country. The grill weighs in at 53,000 pounds and measures in at 65 feet long, 20 feet high and 6 feet in diameter.
That’s a lot of sausages cooking at one time.
The grill stops at several locations across the country to try and help raise money for local charities. The Big Taste Grill Tour began in 1995 and since then Johnsonville has helped raise more than $3.5 million for charity groups and organizations nationwide.
In addition to its stop throughout the country the Big Taste Grill also goes to many major events such as the Super Bowl, Daytona 500, the Kentucky Derby and more.
