Chicago Police Seeking Hit-and-Run Truck Driver

Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a truck driver who struck a cyclist.

The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, in the 3600 block of South Ashland Avenue, in Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood, on Tuesday.

After the truck hit the cyclist, the driver did not stop. The cyclist is in critical condition.

The truck driver has been described as a Caucasian man in his 30s with blonde hair and a short beard.  He has a slender-to-medium build.

Drivers, investigators need your help identifying the approximate year, make and model of this truck. Can you help?

Also, authorities believe there might be damage to the right, upper portion of the truck.
