Colorado Police Searching for a Driver Who Pointed a Gun at a POE Officer

According to a press release from the Colorado State Patrol, on Sunday morning, a man in a white truck attempted to shoot a Port of Entry officer in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 7:41 a.m. when the suspect entered the southbound POE office on Interstate 25 and pointed a gun at a POE officer. The suspect reportedly pulled the trigger, but the gun did not fire.

The suspect then returned to a “very dirty white semi-tractor towing a white box trailer.”  The suspect then headed southbound on Interstate 25.

The truck has the numbers ‘4177’ on the passenger-side door.  The numbers may be in a series of numbers.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned African American or a Hispanic male in his early to mid-30s.  He is 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall with short black hair, a mustache and is said to have a “medium build.”
