We’ve reported on several GPS fails.   A couple in California learned the hard way that sometimes following the GPS leader isn’t always the best decision.

According to The Union, a couple who were following a GPS-directed detour route found themselves stranded in a nearly pond-sized puddle on Chalk Bluff Road near Grass Valley, California.

California Highway Patrol received a call from the couple at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The driver reported that his Jaguar was stuck in a deep puddle, and the water was so deep, he couldn’t get his door open. on

The 2013 Jaguar is likely totaled.
