Kansas Is Elevating Overpasses To Stop Truck Strikes

25-year-old driver, Myles Kamstra, was injured this morning in a rollover accident which took place in Harper County, Kansas at approximately 10:00 a.m.

The westbound 2003 Mack truck hauling water overturned on Kansas 2 near Anthony.

Kamstra had been attempting to adjust the radio volume when the truck dropped from the roadway. As he corrected, the load shifted – pulling the rig over.

Although the driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, he did sustain some injuries. Initially, he was transported to Anthony Medical Center – however, he is now located at Wesley Medical Center.
