Lansing, Michigan drivers found themselves in a crappy traffic situation on Friday morning.
A truck hauling 50,000 pounds of human waste and 25,000 pounds of treated waste and manure, on two trailers, blew out a tire, causing the truck to tip and spill its load.
“Speaking live on WWJ Newsradio 950, reporter Francesca Amiker of CBS affiliate WLNS said the two-compartment 18-wheeler was approaching a curve — just south of the Kalamazoo Street exit — when a tire blew out, causing the waste to shift to the second compartment,” WWJ reported.
The incident occurred in the northbound lanes of U.S. 127 at the Trowbridge Road exit. Traffic had to be rerouted to I-496.
