Gaston Reyno, Future Driver Turned MMA Fighter

Gaston Reyno, a Uruguayan transplant was born and raised in a trucking family. Reyno’s grandfather and father were truck drivers.

Though Gaston was expected to follow in the footsteps of the drivers before him, he’s decided to chase a different dream – being a ninja. He began training at age 7, and for the past 20 years has been perfecting his martial arts practice.

These days, Gaston is calling the Kansas City, ‘Grindhouse’ MMA facility his home. He’s been training there, and also teaching Muay Thai. He’s had a successful amateur career with a record of 0-0-3 (Win-Loss-Draw). Some of these matches were televised. As a result, Gaston has received some media attention, and an opportunity to go pro!

His first professional fight took place on the May 16th, 2014 against David Nelson at the Titan FC 28 event. There was 1, 2:02 minute round, and the fight’s result was declared ‘No Contest.’
