‘Ice Missile’ From Passing Truck Injures Indiana Truck Driver

Published:

According to RTV6, a truck driver in northern Indiana was injured by a sheet of ice and snow that flew off of a passing truck and crashed throughout the driver’s windshield.

Authorities say that on Thursday evening, 38-year-old John Hollon was heading east on U.S. 6 near New Paris, Indiana when a sheet of ice and snow came off of a westbound truck and crashed through Hollon’s windshield.

Hollan was taken to a local hospital. He suffered several lacerations to his face and a possible concussion.

Connecticut and New Jersey have amped up enforcement of the ‘ice missile’ law.
