On Tuesday, an Illinois truck driver won $100,000 in the Illinois Lottery. Gerry Brown of East Peoria won the prize on a $1 Lucky Day Lotto ticket when he matched all five lucky numbers: 02, 05, 07, 15 and 24.
Brown says he plans on using the money to remodel his kitchen, take a trip to Vegas with his brothers and buy his wife a new car.
The ticket was bought in East Peoria at Little Grocery, which receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning Lottery ticket.
