Indiana Truck Driver Arrested For Possession of $3 Million to $4 Million In Cocaine

Published:

A Fort Wayne, Indiana truck driver was arrested on Saturday night for possession of cocaine after Indiana State Police found 38 kilograms of cocaine in the driver’s truck.

“At approximately 7:05 p.m., a semi tractor-trailer was seen traveling eastbound on US 30, east of State Road 9 when it was alleged to have committed a traffic violation as well as had an equipment violation,” the News Sentinel reported.

Police said the driver, Guadalupe Quintanilla, 69, began acting suspicious, so they called in a state police K-9 unit.

The dog alerted officers to the trailer.  Quintanilla then gave his permission to search the vehicle.

Troopers found 38 individually-wrapped packages of cocaine, worth $3 million to $4 million.

Quintanilla was then arrested and is being held without bond.
