For one day only, the Iowa 80 Kitchen is turning back the clock, and the prices (on select menu items) to 1964!
On Wednesday, June 4, 2014, the Iowa 80 Kitchen celebrate being 50 years in business. On that day, the restaurant is turning the prices on select menu items back to what the food was priced at on opening day in 1964.
“Celebrating 50 years in business is a big deal and we thought that offering some special items at 1964 pricing would be fun,” says Jeff Peel. “My grandfather started this restaurant when Iowa 80 Truckstop opened and our family has been working with the Moon Family ever since.”
The 300-seating, full service restaurant is open 24 hours.
ONE DAY ONLY! The special menu will be available from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4.
