March Madness: UConn Wins, Who Won CDL Life Bracket Challenge

This year’s NCAA Basketball Tournament was one to remember. The 2014 tournament actually ranks 2nd for most upsets in a tournament since the tournament expanded to include at least 64 teams. This year we saw the lower seed advance to the next round 21 times. Only the 1999 tournament saw more chaos with 23 upsets.

It only seems right that the 2014 championship took place between a 7 seed and an 8 seed. Two teams that hypothetically shouldn’t have made it past the 2nd round. When everything was said and done, UConn was crowned 2013 champions.

The 2 teams who made it to the championship may not sound like underdogs though.  Kentucky (8) and UConn  (7) have long traditions of being basketball powerhouses. This year both teams had some rocky moments during the regular season, but when it mattered most, they came to play.

It may have been fun watching all those upsets, but picking them in your bracket isn’t the easiest thing to do. Let’s take a look at the Top 5 finishers of our CDL Life March Madness Tournament Challenge and see what they won.
