New Travel Store In Nebraska On I-80 Caters to Truck Drivers

I-80 in Wyoming closed to light, high profile vehicles

If you’ve driven through Nebraska on the I-80/U.S. 81 interchange lately, you may have noticed that the former Crossroads Fuel Stop has been demolished and new construction is underway.

Litchi Oil company is in the process of building a Stall station with gas & diesel, a convenience store, a Huddle House restaurant and a Valentino’s express. Located on the busiest interchange in Nebraska, the new travel stop is expected to see tens of thousands of trucks and motorists pass the spot each year.

“The new travel store will be open 24/7 and will cater to both truckers and the motoring public. The gas  island will be on the east side of the store and the diesel island will be on the west side of the store with a separate entrance,” Litchi told the York News-Times.

Trucker drivers will also have access to a wide variety of new facilities.

“Trucker amenities will include a truckers’ lounge, showers, and a laundry facility.  The store will have a Valentino’s kitchen which will prepare fresh pizza and other Val’s menu items similar to our Valentino’s Express in Bruning, Nebraska,” Litchi said.

The family restaurant Huddle House will be open 24/7 serving an extensive menu with sit-down table service. Their motto is, “Any Meal. Any Time.”
