Three trucks were involved in a fatal crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 1-40 near Grants, according to New Mexico State Police. Officials have not released any further information at this time as to who was killed in the crash or if there were any other injuries. Footage taken at the scene by a local news station shows charred remains of one of truck.
Officials shut down I-40 in both directions around 9:30 a.m, reopening both lanes of eastbound I-40 Wednesday afternoon. One westbound lane reopened around 2 p.m.
