Oversize Load Gets Stuck in the Mud

Published:

A truck that was hauling a 300-foot, seven ton pressure cooker got stuck in the mud and blocked the highway for nearly six hours.

The indecent occurred Wednesday afternoon in Riesel, Texas, southeast of Waco. As the truck was turning left from FM 1860 onto Highway 6, the truck got stuck in the mud.

It took four heavy-duty lifts to get the truck out of the mud.

The pressure cooker was being hauled from Houston to an oil refinery in Canada.
