Published:

Police are looking for a truck driver they say stole nearly $1,000 worth of diesel fuel Friday from a gas station in Duncannon, Pennsylvania.

The driver pulled into the Mobile Gas station in Perry County and filled the truck’s tank with 246 gallons of diesel fuel, according to the Pennsylvania State Police at Newport.

Around 7 p.m. the driver took off from the station, located at the 3100 block of Susquehanna Trail, without paying $920.95, police say.

The tractor is described as purple with a chrome visor above the front windshield, yellow lights below the front bumper and along the lower part of the driver and passenger doors. It has a 53′ white trailer with the letters ‘LCT’ on the trailer doors.

Police describe the driver as weighing about 350 pounds. They say he’s approximately 35-years-old and 5-foot-10-inches tall with dark hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police at Newport, 717-567-3110.
