Port Authority Toll Hike Takes Effect

The New York-New Jersey Port Authority toll hike is now in effect.

The hike went into effect on December 7, 2014 at 3:00 am EST.  “All rates apply to the Lincoln & Holland tunnels, the George Washington, Bayonne & Goethals bridges, and the Outerbridge Crossing. Tolls are collected entering New York. No tolls are collected entering New Jersey,” the Port Authority states.

This marks the third straight increase in as many years.

During peak hours, trucks will pay an additional $12 for six-axles, for a total of $96 for truck drivers with E-ZPass, and $114 for cash payers.

During off-peak hours, trucks with 6 axles will pay a total of $81 for E-Zpass holders and $114 for cash payers.

PEAK HOURS
Weekdays: 6-10 a.m., 4-8 p.m. 
Sat. & Sun.: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

OFF-PEAK HOURS
All Other Times

OVERNIGHT HOURS FOR TRUCKS
Sundays-Thursdays, 10 p.m. until 
6 a.m. the following morning
