The 45-year-old driver of this truck is lucky to be alive after running off at the Captain Cook Highway, North of Cairns, Queensland.
According a spokeswoman for the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, the truck rolled from the highway down onto the Ellis Beach shore around 7:15 AM on Saturday, October 11th.
The driver was able to walk away from the accident, and the truck was totaled. According to the Queensland police department, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened along the precarious Ellis Beach curves.
