Rolling Strong Is Coming To CDLLife

Published:

“Those who think they have no time for exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness.”  ~Edward Stanley

CDLLife is proud to announce a we’ve teamed up with Rolling Strong.  CDLLife exists to improve the quality of life for drivers.  Health and wellness are vital to a driver’s happiness and quality of life.

Remember the old saying, “If you don’t have your health, you have nothing?”

According to a recent study, truck drivers are two times more likely to be obese than workers in any other profession.  In fact, one recent study said nearly 86% of the nation’s 3.2 million truck drivers are obese.

Rolling Strong is the first trucking-specific health and wellness program for truck drivers.  Rolling Strong understands the challenges drivers face in their health and wellness journey; drivers spend many hours sitting and driving and truck stops offer very few fruits, vegetables and healthy options.

Getting in shape, losing weight and eating right sound easy, right?  Not always, there’s so much information out there, it’s hard to know what’s right– low fat, no fat, all natural, no sugar…what do you choose?  Salads are healthier than burgers, right?  Not always.  Salads loaded with dressing, cheese, bacon and other add-ons can contain twice the fat, calories and cholesterol than a burger.

Research shows that accountability aids weight loss, but it’s sometimes hard to keep track of your weight loss  or keep a food journal while you’re on the road.

Working out on the road can be tough.  Drivers spend long hours behind the wheel.  Drivers don’t always have a safe place to park and get out exercise, and working out in your truck can be a challenge.

This is where Rolling Strong comes in.  Rolling Strong offers members truck-specific diet and exercise tips.  Members can take advantage of the Rolling Strong smart-phone app to keep track of your food choices.  Health and wellness coaches are just a phone call away.  Not sure what to order at the truck stop?  Rolling Strong provides members with healthy-eating menus.  In addition, Rolling Strong provides members tips for exercising in the truck.

“In order to change we must be sick and tired of being sick and tired.”  ~Author Unknown

Sean Mohr began his path towards the wellness industry as a helicopter rescue swimmer in the US Navy. From there he went Sean Mohr on to study biology and business in college. After a brief stint as a bartender in Las Vegas, he entered the major medical sales field and specialized in self-funded insurance plans and corporate wellness programs. He eventually started outfitting fitness equipment into these facilities and started his own chain of fitness equipment stores based in Knoxville Tennessee called Any Body Fitness. He has designed and outfitted hundreds of fitness facilities over the years including some very large trucking and transport companies.
