Schneider Boosting Driver Pay

Schneider this week announced the company is boosting driver pay for Van Truckload company drivers.

According to a press release from Schneider, “most Schneider Van Truckload company drivers are now earning an additional 8 to 13 percent in milage and bonus pay.”

Schneider says the pay raise is in addition to recent increases fro Schneider Tanker drivers and “account-by-account increases for most Dedicated account drivers.”

“Our business is growing, creating tremendous opportunities for both solo and team drivers,” said Dave Geyer, senior vice president of Schneider’s Van Truckload division. “Strong customer demand is providing record miles for drivers to maximize their available hours. This, combined with increased pay rates and weekly time-at-home, provides some of the best driving jobs in the industry.”

Schneider offers a variety of career options. – Drivers can choose from regional jobs, which allow them to be home weekly, and team expedited drivers, who are among the highest paid in the Schneider fleets.

“Drivers in select divisions and areas may also benefit from a sign-on bonus up to $7,500. Tuition reimbursement (up to $6,000) and the Military Apprenticeship program (up to $1,146/month) offer recent truck driving school graduates and military service members additional financial incentives to join Schneider,” Schneider said in a press release.
