According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, a sinkhole has opened up in the turn lanes of US 84 from the River Bridge, south on US 61 in Natchez.
The sinkhole prompted the closure of the right turn lane of US 61.
At this time, there is no word on when the lane will reopen.
