Thieves Steal $100K In Apple Products From Moving Truck

Published:

Earlier this week, thieves in Germany pulled off a very dangerous and difficult heist.

The thieves stole nearly $100K worth of Apple products out of the back of a moving truck as it was traveling 50 mph down the interstate.

The thieves reportedly used an SUV to pull up behind the truck.  One of the thieves then climbed onto the hood of the SUV, crawled to the front and cut the lock off of the trailer.  The thief then climbed into the trailer and grabbed as much of the loot as he could.

Seven pallets of Apple products were stolen: 125 iPads, 4 iPad minis, 30 iPhones and two keyboards were taken.

MacNN reported that 50 similar heists occurred last year.

This is not actual footage of the heist, but police say it was similar to this.
