Thieves Steal $18K in Shower Gel From Truck

Published:

On Saturday night, thieves broke into a truck that was parked on Eastside of Indianapolis and made off with $18,000 in hygiene products.

The incident occurred at the Arrow Trucking lot, located at 5203 E. 32nd Street.

At approximately 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, employees realized that two of the trailers had been broken into. One trailer was empty, but the other was filled with Axe shower gel.

The thieves made off with a pallet– 3,600 bottles– of the shower gel, valued at $18,000.

Paul Singh, manager at U.S. Way, which owns the trailer, told the Indy Star, that the thieves broke into another truck but this is the first time thieves have gotten away with any loot.

According to the Indy Star, Arrow Trucking is looking into installing better fencing as well as other security and surveillance features.

At this time, police have no suspects.
