Tow Truck Driver, Police Save People From Fire

A tow truck driver and two police officers helped save people from a burning building in Lynn, Mass. Wednesday morning.

The residents of the three-story building were cautioned to get out of the building around 7 a.m. when a tow truck driver and two police officers who witnessed smoke ran into the building, pounding on doors.

Thankfully nine adults and two children were able to get out in time without injury.

Lynn Fire Chief James McDonald said the fire likely began on the second floor, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
