According to the Chicago Sun Times, a 30-year-old dump truck driver was fatally struck by another truck while he was taking pictures of his vehicle and a van following a collision.
The accident occurred on Thursday morning, at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the Noble Square neighborhood of Chicago.
The unidentified truck driver had reportedly just been in a minor accident with the van. The driver got out of his truck and was taking pictures to document the damage when he was suddenly struck and killed by another truck.
The other motorist and truck driver were not injured.
No further information has been released at this time.
