A horrific and tragic story out of Detroit today.
Yesterday, authorities discovered the body of a truck driver in a burned out truck on the city’s west side.
Detroit police say the driver had been shot before the truck was set on fire.
7 Action News reports that the delivery driver had arrived early for his delivery at Junction, near McGraw, and was waiting to unload. While he was waiting, he was shot and killed, then his truck was set on fire.
Police have not yet released the driver’s name.
The crime is under investigation at this time and no further details have been released.
